These HYBRID Rental Cars are very
special and Unique!
Anyone who rents from us should understand
this and intend
to help us take care of our carsl
You get great cars, great service and
great value!
PLUS you are doing something better for
you, the environment and those around
you!
ALL RENTERS MUST HAVE:
valid Drivers license
AND
Copy of insurance policy that
covers liability
and collision for rental vehicles.
or
Gold / Platinum visa/mc
or American Express credit card
from American Bank that covers rental car
insurance.
Damage Waiver available for $15/day, with
a $1000 deductable.
 To
confirm
a reservation, we need to speak with you on the
phone and get your credit card number.
We will then take a $35, non refundable
deposit
(Which will be deducted from your final
bill.)

Once we get your credit card
information, your car is
confirmed!
There are no confirmation numbers to keep
track of,
although, an email might be sent with
additional information.
If you
cancel
within 7 days of your arrival date, or don't show up,
we must charge 50% of your rental
rate.
You may
return
your car early but you will receive
no refund.
Several car rental agencies actually
charge more to return a car
early!
We are a small, unique, business trying to
do all we can to protect the planet and
those on it.
When someone reserves a car
it prevents someone else from getting
it,
especially since 99.99% of renters reserve
a car weeks or months ahead of time.
By canceling or returning a car early, we
would lose out on more than
just what you reserved it for. We may have
been able to rent the car to someone
else,
perhaps for a longer time... and we have
basically no way to gain a rental back at
a last minute.
Please respect the only way we can succeed
as a small green business, and understand
policies cannot be changed, for any
reason.

Qualified discounts must be confirmed at
time of making
reservation.

vehicle rentals are subject to the

day license & registration fee
- $3.00 a
day State of Hawaii road tax
- 4.166%
sales tax.
- $5
a day charge for
each additional
driver after the first two
drivers..
Any additional driver must have
drivers license and proof of
insurance.
We
rent cars to 21-24 year olds with a
clean driving record..
Additional fees,
such as
excessively dirty cars, and
refueling charges may apply..
We
offer free pick ups and drop offs
to the Maui Kahului airport.
and Kahului Harbor, plus many other
areas.

Seatbelt
use is required by law.
Children
must be in their own child restraint

seat or child restraint (eff.

Adult safety belt
permissible: 4 through 7 yrs. who are
taller than 4'9"; 4 through 7 yrs. who are
at least 40 lbs seated in a rear seat
where if there are no available
lap/shoulder belts, may be restrained by a
lap belt (eff. 1/1/07)
It is best to bring your own, but with
advance notice,
we can provide one that you can
rent.

open bottles and no driving under the
influence!
Abide by speed limits and road signs!
For your safety and the safety of
others!
There is
no
smoking
allowed in the cars.
$200 Minimum charge for those who do!
We work hard making sure our cars are
as
non toxic / chemical free as possible!
If someone smokes in our cars, they can
ruin years of prevention
and make that car totally unusable for
those who are chemically sensitive!
Please respect others right to a healthy
environment!
Pedestrians have the right-of-way
in crosswalks!
Cars are not
permitted off road!
Renters are responsible for all
damages and for
any
down time the cars require to be
repaired!
REFUELING
It is your
responsibility to refuel before you return
the car.
If you are unable, a $5 charge will be
added to the fuel cost.
Watch
out for cats, birds, humans and other life
along the roadways.
While we
do our best to take care of our cars,
problems might occur,
as they do with all vehicles.
We will do our best to find you a
replacement vehicle,
but it might not be a
hybrid.
When renting
a car from us
You are helping us in Protecting
the environment,
which is a complete way of
life for us.
We will not use toxic cleaners
in or on the cars, so we ask you to help
keep them as
clean as possible. If you spill something,
please clean it up asap!
Also, please rinse off sand before getting
into the cars.
And use a towel to sit on! Salt water
stains are hard to clean.
The more vacuuming or steam cleaning one
has to do, the more electricity one
uses...
And most electricity still comes from
fossil fuels
which we are trying to do away with...
FREEBIES
We keep many items on hand for our renters
to borrow,
including books, coolers, towels, boogie
boards, shopping bags etc...
This reduces unnecessary consumerism and
waste,
plus helps our renters save money!
Items are available at a first come first
served, and are only for use by our
renters while they are renting a car.
If you have a request for an item, feel
free to let us know ahead of time.
Items lost or damaged will be charged a
comparable replacement fee.
RESPECT ALL LIFE!
Do not chase or try to touch
turtles or other wildlife
in water or out!
Please do not touch or stand on
coral.
When we interfere with an animals life, we
risk their future.
Take
nothing but memories
Leave nothing but
footprints.....
